did some research and appearently there were some hobbyists that managed to bread lions, lucky for me specifically the fuzzy dwarf. What i cant find is how to sex lion fishes. Are there any obvious structures to look for? All i can read, and im sure you have to know fish anotomicaly to notice this externally, is the shape of the ovarian structures.

With fuzzy dwarfs you just have to count the number of rings on the pectoral fins. The hard part about breeeding them is not the actual spawning, but raising the fry. I haven't heard of anybody raising the fry.
i imagine them being planktivorous(sp?) at first so if my sump can give the pod output i need, i may be ok. everything is worth a shot at least once...even if unsuccessful. all about the experience.
