Isn't it wierd that only the left socks get lost? That always baffled me.

Anyways, shamu, as tame as we think she is, is a wild animal. Never underestimate them. And perhaps she just doesnt like opera. Pink floyd would have been my choice.

i think i know what you are talking about. the one i saw was of a girl doing a comercial or something and she was riding on the back of the orca and then the orca went crazy and was pushing her around the tank and then it started to bite her.

Yes orcas have hurt trainers before. These animals have been kept in captivity for decades, and frankly with animals this large it would be amazing if noone ever got hurt. Other large intelligent animals have also been known to harm or kill long time trainers. Mild violence, or just being overly friendly can cause human harm. If an orca ever wanted to kill a trainer it would only take one good bite.

This whale is named Kasatka. Shamu was the name of the show(I believe it was named after the first whale to perform) which has now been renamed Believe.
