Have any funny things happened concerning your fish? I think it would be fun to hear people's stories. I'll start... and you can tell me if it's as funny as I think.

About a month ago I was adding two mickey mouse platies to a tank that already had two wag platies in it. I was acclimating the mickeys, and had the bag floating in a way so that it wouldn't tip over into the water. I walked away and came back into the room less than 10 minutes later to find the bag tipped over into the water. It was crumpled in a way that would make it hard for a fish to get out, and there were still two platies in the bag, but they were the wags instead of the mickeys!

How is that possible. I'll try to think of one.

That is pretty funny, All I got is a danio chasing a juvinile Jack demps.(temporary tank mates) Pretty funny if you could see it. I noticed it for about 3 days, then it stopped when the Jack was returned to my friend.

When I used to have khuli loaches the first time one of them was "resting" on a plant I thought it was dead and freaked a little. All of a sudden it "woke up" and started playing. After that I always thought it was so cute when they'd hang out on the plants, possibly hanging partially off, sideways, etc. I guess you can teach a fish to "play dead". :D

OH. A few years back I had the tank set up with 3 pond fish I got from a friend's dad because they had a pond. Forget what fish exactly but whatever. While having them, I ended up adding 2 little small snails and then one day I came in there and the snails shells were just lying on the gravel. The fish must of ate them. But the fish were so cute I couldn't stay mad at them.

When I hadmy 6 gallon tank I had a gold gourami and 2 snails(one gold and the other black). My gourami(Eowyn:D) would find the snails, push them up towards the filter(where the water is poured back in) and let the snails go. The snails would then twirl around, go up and down because the current. The snails couldn't get stopped very easily so they did that for a long time..the snails died(could be why they died..i don't know) Then Eowyn died like 2 months ago:( after I put her in the 29 gallon. She was a really good fish(I had her for a year and even in an overstocked tank(1 goldfish, dwarf and her in a 6 gal.!!!! oh and 2 snails:D)

that's all I got.
