Sharing a nice photo with you.

nice fish.. have you guys seen the orange or black ones?.. they are soo cool :]

He was black when I got him... colored ones are the biggest rip off ever because they just change color to match their surroundings anyway. Here's him when he was black.

Hey liz .. you don't have a problem with the angler in your reef tank? Everywhere says that you shouldn't have one with reef, that they are not reef compatible.

I want one but when I went reef i decided i couldn't get one, but i might have been wrong.

Can you give me some advice, seeing that your doing it with success?

i believe that the reason it works is that the eel wont get eaten by the angler and the mandarin has poison skin so the angler should leave them alone...but then again they eat almost anything.

Well to me, reef-safe means safe with coral. He is fine with coral, but he will eat shrimp and small fish. I haven't seen him go after the hermits, snails, or porcelain crabs though.

Originally, it was just going to be the angler with corals. Now it's the angler, a dragonette, and an eel. The dragonette doesn't fit in his mouth, and the eel eats crustaceans, and is too long for the angler to eat.
