Shark question

Hey guys i ma havin alot of trouble with my research on what shark i wanna get for my 40 gallon tank

I have done lots of research with totally different answers! so i just wanted to ask u what shark do u think i should get for the tank

again there will be drift wood and lots of plants and caves it will house 3 tiger barbs 3 green tiger barbs and 1 albino tiger barb it is a 40 gallon longgggg tank

I have a red rainbow shark (red finned shark) in a 30gallon tank with white skirt tetras,phantom tetras, 3 swordtails and pleco. Sometimes the shark will chase the other fish, but most of the time he just hangs around in the plants or hides in a cave!

I have a nearly fully grown rainbow shark in a 50g (one would be fine in a 40g). Really great centerpiece fish, super personality and strange habits. He doesn't bother any of my fish that stay around the middle/top of the tank and gets on well with my bristlenose. Make sure he has a few places to hide in.

i also think rainbow shark is your best bet.
