Very nice pictures. I just set up a brackish tank and have been waiting on my LFS to get some columbians in. How do you like them?

You don't need to put them in a brackish setup yet if they're only 3". They need their own tank for a brackish setup. You can accliminate them now or when they grow a bit bigger.
I grew up a small columbian pretty big (9 inches) in my brackish 65 that was slowly converted to saltwater..
when they are big, they need marine environments to stay healthy. But brackish is fine when they are small.
You will know when you don't have enough salt in the water because they usually start to get covered in fungus.

I have to say that I find them very entertaining,
always on the move and up to some kind of antics.
I will also say that they are a nightmare to get a decent pic of
definately one of the most difficult subjects I have tried to shoot.
