She moulted this afternoon

This is probably the largest centipede I own - she was measured accurately at 15cm (6") bodylength. I hope she's bigger now that she's molted! Enjoy. (excuse the quality of some of the pics please)

How long does it take them to molt?
This often varies. I watched another centipede of the same species take almost 3 hours to complete the process, whereas this individual took only about an hour. Nice avatar, by the way. :evil_lol:

She is so pretty and vibrant! Great pics :)
Thanks! It's a pity the pink and blue colouration doesn't last long after the moult though. :(
 
I didn't know they moulted. Great pictures BTW!
 
What's the lifespan of one of these, when kept as a pet?
