Heya,
Brevis do ok in groups as well, they will pair off and raise fry in a community like the multies... Brevis and Multies are my favorite. I currently have multies, but have bred the brevis before.

what size tank do you have the multies in?
can multies and brevis coexist with other fish? together?

I gave my 6 multies a 38 gallon tank with 6 guppies using the top area. I have crushed coral and a barnacle and shells in it.. They do well. The multies will snip at the guppies occassionally, but rarely.
I did have some multies and brevis together in a 55 gallon with a pair of leleupi about 3 years ago and they all bred, but I have heard they can become too agressive with each other.
