shellies and julidochromis

:iagree: not enough space for the julido for a ten i would just stick with shellies like multi's or occies, even thou a colony of shellies and with there small size they still pack a punch for a territorial species and a lone julido will get punked quite frequently..
Agreed. A 10 gallon is pretty small, even for shelldwellers...which species are you thinking about getting again?
well if you start out with say about 5 multi's in a 10gal in a few months it will be like 20 multi's they breed like rabbits and they do have the little man syndrome type of attitude sorta scrappy for a shellie but yeah they by themselves would work in a 10gal until its time to thin the stock out with enough shells provided it would make for a nice setup, i have a 10gal with a trio from my original stock parents and they are now breeding for me and the whole 10gal is wall to wall sagitaria and java moss really nowhere to swim in the upper levels i also have bristelnose pleco fry in this 10gal, cool deal it should be ok..

Keep an eye out for any territorial aggression and just make sure you take out fry/sub adults when needed...better yet setup some more tanks

i have a goldfish tank. i didnt want the goldfish but if i wanted the tank i had to take them. i could sell them and set it up as a second multi tank.
Check with the fish stores in your area and see if they accept fry for credit...its a good way to save some money on future purchases.
