Shocked by fish! Literally.

great link, Freddy! I can't say those are the prettiest fish around, but I guess their personalities make up for it :)
By the way, electric fishes (including eels, knife, elephantnoses) are some of the, if not the, most intelligent fishes out there. Because of the control and sensory sensitivity it requires to not only produce but analyze electrical information, they have relatively large brains. I've heard they'll play with little balls of foil thrown into the tank, or anything else new and exciting! Very fun.

sorry! I know, I love the guys and have electric fishes on my "List of Fish to Get Before I Die". That list keeps growing and growing... Much like the number and size of my tanks. It's a hazard of the hobby, what can ya do?
