short barbles

update:
"Shorty" didn't make it. Once I got him into the hospital tank I could see that his left fin was not right - and then after 2 days he started growing fungus on it. I treated for the fungus, but he was gone within the day. Poor guy. Luckily, everyone else looks brilliant, so I think this was an isolated instance. I'll watch the tank carefully just in case, but everyone one else is busy, hungry, long barbles, etc.
 
i had that happen with 3 albino cories. with cories, fungus is really hard. they have armored plates rather than scales. they may have an infection for a long time before it physically manifests. youll see it on their eyes and their fins. by the time you know to do anything about it, they are very sick.
