Short Bodied Ranchu

Cute fishie. I'd feed it exclusively wet/fresh type foods though, as the super short body trait seems to really exacerbate flipping and tilting issues.
 
What a cutie! I second what Inka said, stick to non commercial feeds, no fillers or grains. Lots of fiber from veggies and fruits.

Awww...:hearts: Rick is right. That body appearance has greatly compressed its GI tract that any starch filled food products can likely cause it to suffer buoyancy issues.
 
I let my friend know yesterday about the what to feed it. It's funny...we went to another lfs and found 2 more, but he ended up getting 2 Pandas and another Ranchu.
