Wow thanks everyone; I wasn't expecting such a positive response to a work in progress! Now I'm nervous about the upgrade and if it will come out as nicely as I hope!
Thanks especially for the picture comments. I like to think I'm almost good with a point and shoot camera. I've done a few artsy fartsy photos over the last few years and posted them on deviantart.
