should i be using this canister?

I have a 75 gallon reef with a seio (620 I believe) a 275 gph aquaclear and a fluval fx5 canister which has flow of 925 gph. 75 lbs live rock.

I have some bio rings in my skimmer and some in the canister.
I read that canisters are not good in this setup.

should i ditch the canister or remove the media and use it for flow?
if I don`t really need it i would rather sell it.

I would ditch the canister. The live rock will do your biofiltration, so the canister is just a place for debri to get trapped.

You might add another powerhead to increase the flow, if you take the canister off.
