This guy I work with, has an nearly full grown Red Devil cichlid. I know, there mean. I have a 75 Gallon for him, all by himself. if i dont take him, hes going back to a pet store, and then knows what will happen

Absolutely if you want the fish...pretty sure you can put something with him too depending on the temperament of this one fish.

Means no african planted set-up though boo!

In a heart beat..do it.

I'd go for it. I have had mine for about 10 years since he was an inch or two in size. The only draw back is I've never found anything I can put in with him.

Yea, this guy wants to give him up because he's in his 55 Gal, and he tears everything up. I guess he put him with a African cichlid and it attacked it, took a chuck out! I was thinking maybe making spots for little fish to hide, then MAYBE theyll be ok getting some other few small ones.

As far as the planted, yea, but maybe ill get another 30 Gal and plant that and put small fish in there.

This is the big guy, not in my tank...
