Should I get a 55 gallon aquarium or wait?

I am in high school, and going into college soon. I really want a 55 gallon tank or some other tank around that size. I only have a 29 gallon and two 10 gallons. Should I get the 55 gallon tank? I will want to bring it to college if possible because I will be renting an apartment, but I do not know if I will be able to/how to transport the tank if there are going to be fish in it. It is a 16 hour drive (with no traffic) to my college from where I am right now. Will I need to sell my fish before I go and buy new ones when I arrive there? Or will they be fine in the car for 16 hours? And I do not want to pay that much to get them there because I will need to pay off my college tuition.

Yeah I guess I will wait and just use my other tanks for now.

I would recommend even waiting until after you're done with school to get anything larger than a 20g tank. Having a vehicle to move the tank around is an issue, as well as having friends willing to help heft it.
