Should I lower my dosing?

Turn co2 on 2 hours before lights on, turn it off when lights go off.
Cut lighting down to 7 hours.

Plant more. Stick with EI dosing.

OK I will try that.

So you think I should use this schedule instead, even with slower growing plant?

General Dosing Guideline for High Light and well planted aquariums.

My tank has been sitting stocked for about 3 weeks+ undisturbed.
I pulled my tank apart 2 days ago.
The cloudy water started 10 days ago.

I'm thinking it might be ammonia or something, and I need better filtration.

I'm going to hook up my EMP-400 and see if it changes, I'm almost willing to bet that it will clear up.

I'm also going to change my dosing schedule and change my light time with tank going on 2 hours before light.

I think this should do me good.

Not that its any consolation but I believe alot of new tanks (less than a year old) go through a green water phase. I'm guessing yours falls in this category. The most popular methods to deal with it are a uv sterilizer or blackout (with appropriate dosing).

Now imho, you are probably going to have a difficult time in turning this into a slow growth tank for one reason, too much light. Light energy is the largest driving force in any tank, no matter how many other nutrients you do or don't have, either plants or algae are going to utilize the available light. As far as nutrient supplementation, there are a number of people who could give you a good starting point but it will still probably take some tweaking on your part to arrive at an acceptable result for your specific tank. Personally, I'd start with EI and adjust from there based on plant growth, algae, and test kits.

I haven't tested yet, I will try to do that later today. Local pet store had a small fire in the back so I'm not sure if they are still able..

Here's my dosing schedule:

Here's my tank now, torn apart waiting for plants. I will not have my tanked stocked for about 10 days or so.
How should I adjust my dosing schedule for the lack of plants I have now?

OK here's my test results:
pH - 6.5
kH - 3
GH - 6
Ammonia - 0.5
Nitrate - 20
Nitrite - 0
Phosphorus - 3.0

I did a 55% water change and next day I started my dosing schedule for 2 days: Friday and Saturday dosing.

These levels are to high.
How should I adjust, just cut the dosing in half?

You have a minicycle go ing on. That' s probably why your water is cloudy.

I don't know what I should do right now since I'm afraid if I dose for today I will have almost double the readings I mentioned above.. Those readings are already almost twice the target range I'm looking for.
I had to remove my snails yesterday because they are not doing to well and being extremely slow and dormant.
