well i got ~15#s of LR from my cousin in law and i was told by peple in my reef club to not put it in right away casue my tank will go through a mini cycle but i was under the impression when rock is curing to put it in a container or something til u get zero ammonia right? well this stuff was already in a tank and cured and i got zero ammonia so will i be alright adding it all...i already added 2 of the smaller pieces as my club said it will be fine but i think they mean dont add it if its new rock right?

thats how i hear it...

im just a noob, but if it was in a tank and already cured, then as long as it hasn't been out of the water for a while, it should be totally fine to put it in your tank...

When I got live rock from an established tank I just plopped it right in. I've never got any ammonia or nitrite readings after I added it.

if it does go through a mini cycle it should be a very small one...i dont see any problems with adding it but im new to this as well

Probably a mini cycle but nothing major I'd expect.
