Should i QT blue rams?

Hello everyone.
I am going to get 2 blue rams at the store this week and i want to get 2(male and female). Should i QT them or do they have a very low risk of having ick or ich or what ever its called.

In my opinion - everything needs to be Qt-ed. I had ich once - and don't want it again.
I have Bolivian Rams in QT now.

QT them. Their relatively weaker constitutions make them susceptible to all kinds of pathogens. You don't want to introduce any disease or parasite into your main tank.

Rams like high heat, so while in QT, bump up that temp to 86. If they have ich, you'll know it sooner rather than later.

general good practice is to QT every fish, not just for ich but to prevent any pathogens infecting your existing stock.

advice on time periods varies - you see 2 weeks to a month, but some do for longer.

I agree, I qt EVERY new fish addition for 3-4 weeks of health. Good luck!

I always recommend QT for a minimum of 4 weeks with a prefrence on 6.
But I treat for internal parasites on all incoming fish.

Yep, I QT every fish because even if they don't show signs of problems right away, because they are a stronger fish, they can still be a carrier.

I dont want to sound dumb, but I have yet to QT a fish, mostly because my budget wont allow for anything more than what I already need with my 2 tanks that are running.

BUT...if I had a choice, I would defintely choos QTing over just putting the fish right into the main tank.
