Should I Temporarily Move My Betta? PLEASE HELP

The 6 gallon is for another betta, but I have not even gotten that one yet. It is to upgrade the his 2.5 gallon. I can't use that one for him.
I'm just wondering if I should remove this one from the 10g. I feel so bad putting him in those small bowls, especially after he has had this 10g to swim around in. The other issue would be if I should leave the afd's in there while it cycles...

Well if you don't have a tank that IS cycled to put either the bettas or the ADFs in, then leave them as is.
It wouldn't do any good putting them in another uncycled tank, and it wouldn't do the betta any good putting him in an uncycled bowl.

So what do I do if the fins get worse? Can I use the bettafix in the tank with the frogs?

That I don't know.
I've never used it.
I probably wouldn't use it with the frogs though.
IF you decide to medicate, I'd take the betta out, or move the frogs to another tank, if you have one.
Well, good luck and I hope his fins repair on their own.
:)

Bettas should never be used to cycle a tank. Thier fins are too delicate and will do just what your little fellas fins are doing. You need to get him in nice clean water so that finrot doesn't begin. That's a real pain to get rid of in some fish.

What you should do is go ahead and put him in the smaller bowl for now and do water changes every day or everyother day. Because his fins have been injured you need to keep the water very clean to prevent infection. Adding some aquarium salt to the water may help as well. If you want to float him in a smaller bowl in the 10 gallon so that he is still surrounded by familar things..that will help to keep him from getting too stressed out by the change and also help to keep the temps in the bowl more stable. REmember, a smaller bowl isn't such a bad thing if it's "temporary" and you keep the water very clean.

Let the 10 gallon complete it's cycle and do not put your betta back in there until his fins are all healed up. That's not going to be easy to do because you are going to want to put him in that nice big tank......but I can't tell you enough how important it is to keep him in good clean water while those fins are healing.

What does this smaller bowl that can go in the 10g look like? Also, should I leave the frogs in there?
