okay i found this shovelnose at my lfs, and i think its very unusual.
it's labeled as a " wolf shovelnose ". it's about 8-9" long, has black circles along its body, and its whiskers are as long (or longer) than the body. but here's the puzzler... the tip of it's snout is bent up at almost 90degrees! about half-inch to an inch
i thought that maybe it banged into a wall and broke its nose, but the store said it's a "different kind of shovelnose" and that they've had it for about 6 months, so it's been eating
i couldn't find any information under the name wolf shovelnose though, does anyone know what i'm talking about?
