I've never actually posted a picture of mine online- I'll need to take a few snaps...

... right now though it is beginning to get overgrown... ever since I upgraded my lights and started adding Florin-Axis my stem plants have been growing like weeds. I need to trim my plants before I take any photos.

Well.. it's not a 55g but it is a 46 bowfront =)



I actually planted most of my plants towards the front giving the tank "depth" or at least I think so haha

Here's some pretty old pics of one of my 55G planted tanks from around 2002-03. It had no CO2, very little ferts (if any), and only 80w of light.(Two 40w normal output fluorescent bulbs) The tank was a few years old when those pics were taken. This tank started out with DIY CO2 (two 3 liter bottles) which was eventually removed with no real difference in plant health or growth.




Here is a somewhat current pic of my 50G planted. This tank replaced the 55G after it sprang a leak. It has the same foot print as the 55G but is a couple of inches shorter. Seeing as it is very similar to a 55g, I decided to post a pic of it for the thread.

It has no CO2 (I dose Excel), dry ferts and traces, and 130W of PC lighting.
It still is in it's grow-in stage, albeit slowly without CO2.
