show me your zoas

Oh almost forgot..are these your first zoas? If so, be sure to pick up a pair of gloves...thin latex with no powder. Get several pairs...your vet can order them if you want. The reason is some zoas have a palytoxin that is very toxic. Not all have them, and I didn't learn about it after I handled my first ones. I had fragged them and dipped them without a clue. Had a bit of a metal taste in my mouth for a day or so. The gloves will just be a safety thing.

wow thats a lot of zoas! i do have a pair of gloves for the tank but they may end up being to big to mess with the frags. i'll have to figure that out when i get them... guess i should get the latex gloves just in case. i'm going to go out to the lfs this week to get some epoxy, tho i really have no idea what i'm gonna do with the frags...

Grins, thanks for the link on the zoas for I don't think i ever viewed that link and now I have it. I take everything mean I ever said about you, well almost everything  :y220d: :raspberry: :screwy:

I have those huge aqua gloves from F&S..the orange and blue ones. They are ridicously big and I've given up on them. No way I'd even try to frag with them. The little latex gloves are a bit more sensible for the zoas. I've not worried about it with the ones I currently have because I've been stupid with them already.

Oh and Buddy... :raspberry:

Dont know if this will help you out but here are my zoos Only have 2 different kind right now but once I get my bigger tank when I move going to be getting a lot more love the colors

Grins, you're silly.

One of my zoa rocks falls over ever few weeks (stupid urchin) and I have to pick it up and jam it back where i want it...and i end up shoving on the polyps.

I don't think they're going to hurt you, honestly....or at least mine are missing a heckuvan opportunity. ;)
