Show off your 100g+ tanks

Hey DM, do you have a pic with you standing in front for scale? I know your tank is big, but it's hard to tell just how big.

i just got mine fresh off the lfs delivery truck today.
its a 130g. 72x18x24 before stand/canopy
all in honey pine.
72" strip light, glass tops, yadda yadda.
$799.00

I'll try and get some better pics of the tank soon, thanks for the compliments.

The sand is easy to keep clean, it's pool filter sand and I use it in 3 of my tanks. As long as it is rinsed thoroughly before adding it to the tank, I have no issues with cloudiness.

Raskolnikov .... what type of plants are those and what sort of lighting r u running..
and it that sand... how is cleaning sand working out for you..

Those are "Fancy Plants" Giant Asparagus. Totally plastic; I just trimmed them to give them a more natural look. The lighting is a 48" strip with a single 40W bulb.

Ya'll have some beautiful tanks.....feeling the calling of a second tank again....How many pounds of sand would I need for a 125? Does it come in different shades?

Usually a pound per gallon should do. I have sand in my tank, its been there for 6 months without any problems. Just go to a hardware store and get normal play sand. It clouded the water when I put it in, but once it setteled its fine.

lol is that box taped their to keep the cats from getting behind their......lol i put the box my lites came in cause they wont stay out...

That is awesome!! You know....my pool only holds a little over 8000 gal. You'd probably think it was just another tank!

I was looking at a 125 gal in the store. My 18 yr old took my had off it and told me to move on  She told her dad about it later, the little narc, and he said "good girl"!
