Thanks! He's my favorite fish. Someone PMed me with an ID of Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps, so unless someone else disagrees, I'll go with that for now He's too big for the tank, I think. As soon as I've got a permanent location (unfortunately at least another year or two), I plan on getting him a bigger tank - I don't have space in my apartment now (and I worry about the floor...)
