I love having different types. Never know what weird color they're going to produce. I got a good pic of one of my stranger ones...
Here are some of my mollies in my 46g. 1 male black molly, 2 female dalmation mollies. they are close to 3 inches. And these are the parents of the fish in my earlier posts. No signs of orange in these, but its there in the babies. idk 
It's strange, I had a black molly that gave me some fry and I noticed that just one of them has shiny green and orange and white on her. Here are pics..
Yep, thats how mine came out but instead of green they have blue iridescent scales between the end of the dorsal and the beginning of the tail. I think i have a 7:1 female to male ratio lol so i should be getting some babies at some point. Some of the females are close to an inch and pretty fat, although i think they are too young yet.

That is CaribSea Super Naturals Black Tahitian Moon Sand. I got it online at ablackhorse.com for $12 per 20lb bag
Well i just ordered some spectraquartz, the coarse grade. I read that the tahitian moon is too sharp to cories and such. i doubt it matters much but i guess this is comparable to the 3m colorquartz. The gravel in my 46 will be history :woot:
