My next shrimp tank is going to be sand and MTS. I've been doing twice a week gravel vacs for the last 4 weeks, dropped down to one supplemental feeding a week, and swear the planeria are getting bigger.
No new casulties found yesterday or this morning. I'm still not going to say whatever it was is officially over, but things are definately looking good. Temp is staying nice and consistant. Water parms yesterday look very nice. TDS dropped below 100. Hopefully I'm at a full reset now and things can get back to normal.
sorry to hear about your issues, finding the root cause can be difficult I recently lost all my blue pearls to what I believe to be a heater issue like yours. They slowly declined until there were none, I hope you can save some!
Thanks. I do have quite of few small ones so hopefully the colony is good to go. Once I make that determination and they are in their new dwelling, I'm going to be looking to introduce new blood into the colony.
