Shrimp euthanasia

Here's the picture from last night:

You can see the brown tattered edge of his tail fin.

He hasn't eaten since Saturday night.

At this point my hopes are beginning to waiver.....

However........

Possibly in the process of molting.
 
UPDATE!!!!!!!

I just came in from work and looked in the tank....
wha.......... two shrimp in the breeder trap?????

HE MOLTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HE'S BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:woot:

Look at the pics I'm posting. He has new antenna and new marcobrachium... big arms!!! One leg with claw is a good bit longer than the other... but he has two!! He'll be able to feed himself!!!!! HE IS AWESOME!!!!!

You can see his new arms and claws. He hasn't started grabbing the shrmip and veggie pellets yet that I dropped in there with him a few minutes ago, because I think he just molted. I saw the arms kinda floating with the current I stirred up when I pushed the pellets over there to him.

I think once he firms up he will eat like a pig.... and he's home free!!!

I can't tell you how much I appreciate all the help you guys have given; the moral support, the encouragement, and interest in this little guy.:dance2:

He has a home here with me, that's for sure. I'm gonna give him his own tank and get him some WOMEN, lol.:grinyes:
