Just to add to your choices Msjinkzd has some beautiful Suluwasi shrimp and you could add some beautiful Suluwasi snails... you'd have to think about it and choose carefully those guys are kind of pricey but really pretty.
If you go conventional then you can't beat yellows or greens or crystal reds on a dark substrate- my opinion anyhoo!!

Whatever you choose I want to see some pictures when you are done!!
