Well I gave away the last of my fish, and my cherries are isolated in a breeder net for now . I'm getting blue pearls in tommorow, and I wanted to breed them. I also have 2 female amanos in this tank with a bamboo shrimp. Plan on filling it in more with some grass in the front and more plants on the right side. I also just finished cycling a marineland 12 for snowballs I will be receiving from H3D, thinking about moving the cherries in there and not worrying about them breeding muts. I'm very excited, I'll post some pics tommorow once they settle.

I vote put blue pearls and crystal reds or some other caridina in there, don't bother with hybrids. Maybe you should create one giant breeder net that circles the back and sides of the tank for the cherries? :D

Well for this 55 I was planning pearl blues definitely + most likely CRS from the caridinia side. For my little 12 I was gonna put the cherries and snowballs together probably, not worrying about how they breed in there. Maybe even a betta if the shrimp are big enough to not be bothered by him.

They're in and runinng all around. I can't wait until I get to the hundreds. Here are some pics, I have a real rough time getting pictures of them, this crappy camera doesn't zoom well and the flash is another battle, so sorry they're not quality pictures.

wow, very cool! My husband gave we weird looks when i told him the 30 was only going to be for shrimp and snails, i cant imagine what he would say to a 55! Good luck with your breeding.
