Shrimp or Snails: Pick only 1

Stole this from Mgamer's thread that everybody thought should be a poll... I really wanted to see the actual numbers without reading through all the pages... so let's see em!

If you could only keep one or the other, which would it be?

I've never kept shrimp before...but if I could only keep one or the other it would have to be snails because of their functionality within the tank.

Shrimps are nice because they don't get really big like snails and even if they multipy they are easy to rehome like the Red cherry shrimp, Yellow shrimp, green shrimp, tiger shrimp. Mystery snails are nice as they do not multipy like the other snails as need a male /female to mate they do get big like a golf ball size though. I just got some Assassin snails to assassinate some of my MTS and ramshorms snail population. It's a nice looking snail that does not over populate like the other smaller snails. Shrimps can fit in a smaller tank set up like 2.5 gal. and bigger that's why I voted for the shrimp.

Snails all the way. I have both but I prefer my snails. they are fun and can be kept with fish easier than most shrimp (which become snacks).

oh geez...that's hard, and it also depends on the spiecies....
I pick cherry shrimps.
