Shrimp or Snails: Pick only 1

I voted shrimp because the only snails in my tank are puffer food. =)
I like snails, don't get me wrong, but my puffs like them more...

I have both......but have to say Shrimp! Be cool if the shrimp magically appeared in tanks the way unwanted snails do!

shrimps.....much cuter and my fish like helping to keep the population under control by nibbling on the off spring...

it'd be hard to give up either in any tank i ever had but i'd rather be stuck with shrimp

Just got into keeping snails and shrimps about 2 -3 months ago and would totally keep shrimp over snails. Having both around is still great though.

I had to say snails. Only because some of the larger shrimp remind me too much of spiders sometimes. I gotta loves me nerites!

I had to go with shrimp, for two main reasons:

1. the snail LOVES my java moss, (which is in VerY short supply), and so do I.

2. the snail poops as much as a small cat.
I know from having to scoop after Mum's 5 cats...

Snails DO have some good qualities though, like it does eat the algea off the walls, and sometimes manages to look cute while doing it, lol. I had another one in mind, but it slipped... let me go chase after it....
