shroom frag???

i got some LR at the weekend and one had some nice shroom peices on it , this morning i reailsed one had been pulled off during scaping . i tried gluing it onto some rock but it hasnt worked .

could someone tell me wgat i am doing wrong ????

most softies are hard to glue since they produce a slime coat when glued, what you can do is to put it in a shot glass with rubble inside and the loose shrooms on top and mesh on top of that to keep them down, and they will attach themselves.

Shrooms are tough to attach to rock and plugs. I take the rock/plug out of the water and dab off the spot I want to glue the shroom to with a paper towel. Do the same to the shroom by sitting it on a PT for a few seconds. Put the SG gel on the rock where you want it and just lay the shroom on the glue for a minute (the coral will be fine for the couple of minutes it's out of the water). You can also use a rubberband to keep the coral in place (with or without SG). This works best if you have a hole of groove that the shroom will sit down and and the rubberband just keeps the coral from blowing out of the groove/hole. That way the rubberband isn't so tight on the coral.

The other option is to place a plastic cup on your snd bed and put some rock rubble in the cup and lay the shroom in the cup with the rubble. After a few days/week, the shroom should attch itself to one of the rocks and you can glue that rock where you want it.
