Shy female platy all by herself in the corner of the tank

Update

Well I came home yesterday to find her dead. :(

Not sure what killed her. But I assume it was a desiease or stress since she almost never ate. I didnt see any bite marks from other fish or missing fins.

I did a ~30% water change once I found out.

Sorry to hear about your platy
It happened exactly like mine did.
And I could put food right in front of her and she just wouldn't eat anything.
And there were no bite marks on mine either, her color looked good. You wouldnt of even known anything was wrong with her. But I lost mine as well just like yours.

So I got another one to replace her.

ALso check your tank temp, keep it about 78 degrees and see how they react now. I keep mine about that and they are active and constantly eating. I also feed them regularly Garlic infused foods, about 3 times a week and a good variety.

I want to try something new: Can I just feed pure chopped up garlic, or do I need to use the juice of it?
you can either chop up garlic to give them a try, or mix it with thier flake foods. I picked up some food that was infused with garlic and use it as a added food source for my fish. I tend to feed them atleast 3 - 4 different foods a week.

Dose that stuff in the can work? Its starting to be a pain to keep one chopping it up.
LOL, I cook with it every day, so I toss in a little with my fish food. :)
But becareful on the can stuff, and read the ingredients make sure there is no oil in there and just garlic and water. That is all you want.
