A Sad Day
The past couple of days the betta has been real sluggish, having a hard time swimming and not eating.

After work I stopped by my local fish store...
They didn't have the medicine I needed at the store, While I was there I talked to one of the employees about it. He actually thought that the betta may have had cancer. He says that they get so imbred that they can actually be more prone to such diseases. He told me I should euthanize my fish because it is probably too late to save him.
So I got a new cory catfish, cause that's the only fish I've had so far and it hasn't died... to kinda eleviate the dead fish blues.
After coming home from the fish store, I found the betta dead... good thing they didn't have the medicine I needed. I would have wasted my money. I am so glad I didn't have to euthanize him... that would have been hard.
Anyway, I'm done with bettas. They are too tempermental for me. They always seem to be getting sick or killing my other fish. This is my second betta, the last one just died from old age. I had this one for maybe 7 months or so. They are lovely fish, but just too much of a pain for me.
Any reccomendations for some pretty and easy to take care of fish that will get along with my two corys. I only have a 10 gallon tank, so they can't be too big.
