I have a 10 gallon tank that is currently home to two congo tetras, a dwarf gourami, and a flying fox. I've had the gourami for about two months now; he beautiful when I bought him, but over the past few weeks he's been looking sickly. His colors are faded, fins are clamped, and looks like he's lost weight. He's still eating and swimming alright though, and on top of that, the other fish in the tank all continue to look perfectly healthy. Any help would be appreciated!

Have you been doing regular water changes on the tank? What are the test readings on your water? That is the first thing everyone is gonna ask. I also think that the flying fox may be a bit too large for a 10g tank. I know mine is pretty big and he uses all of the space in my 55G.

I usually do a water change and gravel vaccuuming every week. Most recent water tests are:
pH: ~7.4
GH: 7
KH: 4
ammonia: <0.25ppm
nitrite: <0.3ppm
nitrate: <10ppm
water temp is about 78F

maybe the pH is a bit too high for the gourami?

Maybe the nitrite and ammonia are to high considering they should both be 0. Gourmais are water sensitive. You need to do as many water changes as it takes to keep the am and nitrites at 0.

Then and only then will your gourmai return.
