Sick Malawi ciclid?

What size tank are they all in? I would also dramatically reduce the frequency you feed them. 3 times a week is what I do, on those days I feed them 2/3 pinches a few hours apart. His fish would also love spirulina flakes/pellets as well as leaf lettuce, mine even eat cucumber. Keep the diet as varied as possible.

He 's also got a 4 foot 60 gal US, tank that we are trying to get a stand for before it's setup (cycled).
I'll get him to reduce feeding, but how will we know if they are getting enough food? If they get hungry won't the more aggressive ones attack the others more often?
I've read about lettuce and cucumber, what about boiled peas?

Peas will work fine, mine like lettuce better but they will eat peas. I havnt noticed any increase in aggressiveness since I cut my feedings per my LFS owner. Ive been feeding them 2/3 times a week for a few months now, no nipped fins. I enjoy not having to change the water every 5 days, its around every 7-8 days now.
He has all those fish in a 13.5 gallon tank? Im suprised any have lived over a few days! Move them to the 60 gallon as soon as possible!
