My orange platy recently developed a "pale, white-ish spot" on his side. It's pretty big and has soft edges, and when I looked closely it looked like some of his scales were not laying flat, but were kind of sticking outwards.
I thought I noticed something similar on my betta a few days ago, and then yesterday I found my betta dead in the tank.
Does anyone know what this could be or what I can do about it? Is there a disease in my tank? I will try to post pictures tomorrow. HELP!!!
