Well dear, I am feel sorry for that one snail as growth level is stopped.It might be problem with a water contain or planeria.I suggest you to give a good diet food to eat.It might be possible that the snail have problem in breathing or suffers from parasitism.Consult a good doctor and take advice from doctor about the diet for snails.

just to touch on the trapdoor: it is attached to the snail's body, not its shell. a brigg can survive without its trapdoor, but it is more vulnerable to less than perfect water parameters that way, as well as being more vulnerable to being picked on by fish in the tank.
