Sign Up Mafia #71 - The Infection

Well, I'M IN !!!

Can't miss one with my Jmax back!!!!! Sooooo glad to see ya back wooo-wooo!!

what do you mean by that? who is it one sided for?

Have no idea..the rules are too unclear....

Roles:
The infected: Every night you may infect one person if you choose to do so. If you successfully infect a person you will be able to chat with them (and they will become an infected also). You must PM your choice of person to infect before nightfall! If you target a vaccinated pharma rep to infect you will die.

if 12 players start..how many are infected to begin with? If more than one, do they each get to infect one? Or is this a growth game? If evil, they get a hit every night...

Pharmaceutical Rep: Each night you may choose to vaccinate someone. If you successfully vaccinate a person you will be able to chat with them (and they will become a pharma rep). You must PM your choice of person to vaccinate before nightfall! If you target an infected to vaccinate you will die.

Just one to start with? and they are technically innocent townies?

Hillbilly Survivalist: Each night you get to choose 1 person to “done gone and make dead”. You must PM your choice before nightfall. If an infected tries to infect you; you will done gone and shoot them dead. If a pharma rep tries to vaccinate you; you will done gone and shoot them dead. If the detective investigates you, you will be able to communicate with them.

Are they an evil or a innocent townie? if evil they get a hit every night...
The Detective: Each night you will get 1 investigation. You are considered a townie. You may be infected or vaccinated. If you become infected or become a vaccinated pharma rep you lose the ability to investigate.

considered..?

Townie: You have no special abilities or communication abilities outside of the game thread. You may become infected or vaccinated (pharma rep). If a townie is the target of a pharma rep vaccination and the target of an infected on the same night fall you will die.

How to win:
Infected: You will win the game once 50% or more of remaining players are infected AND the Hillbilly survivalist is dead.
Pharma Reps: You will win the game once 50% or more of the remaining players are pharma reps AND the Hillbilly survivalist is dead.
Hillbilly Survivalist: You will win the game when ALL infected are dead and pharma reps are dead.
The Detective: You will win the game when ALL infected are dead and pharma reps are dead.
Townies: You will win the game when ALL infected are dead and pharma reps are dead.

just seems like two groups of evils each getting to gain evils per night and reads like each evil gained each one gets to do so the next night....

looks like a game that they start with one each and they grow, but if they try to recruit each other they die.

The Detective can get turned, the hillbilly can't.

nope..still here

The Infected:

yes they each get to infect one if they choose to but it's at their own risk. If there were only 12 to play it would most likely be 1 person to start with.

Pharmaceutical Rep:

Just one to start with? and they are technically innocent townies?
They will have same starting numbers as the infected. They are not innocent townies.

Hillbilly Survivalist:

Are they an evil or a innocent townie? if evil they get a hit every night...
They are neutral but sides with innocents, they are in it to protect themselves. They win with the innocents so they are going to aim for infected and pharma reps.

The Detective:

considered..?
Innocent but like all the other innocents they can be turned by either the infected or the pharma reps.

just seems like two groups of evils each getting to gain evils per night and reads like each evil gained each one gets to do so the next night....
Yeah that is the basic idea. Two evils with innocents stuck in the middle. If it takes the innocents too long to root out the evils they will be converted to one or the other side.

If the innocents want to win as innocents they will need to take out the infected and the pharma reps hastily. Take too long and you'll have to win with one of the evil teams when you become one of them.

Hope that cleared up any confusion.

If an infected chooses a pharma rep to infect the infected will die. If a pharma rep chooses an infected to vaccinate the pharma rep will die. If both an infect and pharma rep decide to convert the same person on the same night then the person both of them choose will die.

Each night the hillbilly can choose to kill someone (they don't have to). If an infected or pharma rep tries to convert the hillbilly the person trying to convert the HBS will die.

As far as starting team numbers it will depend on how many people decide to play. But since the exponential growth possibilities (remember once a person gets infect or vaccinated they can spread it next night if they want) of the teams it will be low most likely either 1 or 2 people to start.

So each infected/vaccinated person on a team gets to choose nightly? If there are 3 on each team then 3 players can be turned each night? Could be a quick game
