Sign up thread - Mafia 66: Farmers versus the Railroad

hmmm, i was thinking, if i left then there be 9 people left, thats 3 on each team i think. That would be a small balanced game.

To be fair, I think there was a bit of a burnout factor going on for FF. He's been playing a lot of mafia lately, and I think "too much of a good thing" may have thrown his game off.

To remedy that, I think it might be in his best interest to take a few waves off. As he's expressed interest in modding, maybe he could sit this one out and serve as an assistant or back-up mod for JL. Working closely here with JL would give FF a chance to get a 'behind-the-scenes' look at modding before actually taking on a game himself. Just a thought.

JL/FF, you guys up for it?

I think that is a GREAT idea.

Ice would be a much better mentor than me. I think I screwed up that only game I modded. This format might be more than I can handle as it is.

Would I get better particaption if I went to a normal 48 hour day-cycle format?

Sit tight there, FF...you're playing. The sign-up has only been posted for a day-and-a-half, and there'll be more people coming. Nine is too small of a game.

That may be a consideration. The 'majority' voting takes alot of getting used to, and I don't think many folks like it as much as the 'popular' voting. The only reason that I used it for the last wave was so the mafia could use the voting as a way to try to target the masons...the masons were kind of forced to address each lynch wagon, and couldn't just throw singleton votes everywhere and look the other way.

Problem with the majority voting in the last wave is that being unfamiliar with it, the town-aligned group wasn't as cautious with it as they should have been, and there were a lot of quick-lynches, which kind of left a garbage voting record to follow.

I'd be up for going 48 hour days (and a popular vote), although it might make it just a little bit harder for the mafia to pick masons.
