Silicone from Home depot or LFS

Was going to get some silicone to put together a cave, remember seeing someone post that you get get it in home depot.
I see some 3oz size for $10 in the LFS, is it the same stuff as home depot?
Which is best to use?

Either will work so long as it's 100% silicone and free of mold inhibitors. Lowes or Home Depot will be most likely be cheaper.

GE Silicone I is what you need...just got a tube at my Lowes this weekend... $3.87

GE II can be used but needs a much longer full cure, such as 7-10 days minimum.

Just re-sealed the rear 2 seams on my 29 gallon with GE silicon I. Bought in the paint department at the local Wallymart for roughly $3. No adverse effects to snails in the last month, and they nibble on the stuff.
