silicone/sand mortar... not easy or fun... but worth it!

LOL!! That is why I usually just live vicariously through all of you!! Barely have time for water changes!!! But, one day......

haha! we all go through those phases

WOW that is cool! That's an interesting sized 30g. Oceanic did build outside the box for sure. Gotta be impossible to find tops/lights to fit it though.

Pretty sure it wouldn't be a problem for Glabe's Super Awesome Custom Creations.

We at GSACC are determined to figure out the lid situation! probably just plexi sheets with hinges siliconed onto them

Is a HOB filter possible with that background?

after reading this, I tried the penguin 350 that came with the tank. It fits, but the water flow is beating against the back of the background... A sheet of plexi in between should prevent any erosion or damage i hope. Do you think the 100 gph powerhead is enough to rotate the display water with the filtered water in the back?

Isn't a penguin 350 rated at 350GPH? I'd think even on it's worst day it would greatly out pump a 100GPH powerhead. Might need atleast 200-300GPH worth of powerheads?
