Hi! I am new to this board....I was wondering if someone can help me out with a question I have. I have 2 of these columbian sharks, and when I first got them, both were pretty dark in color. I am aware that they can change color depending on the decor in the tank. I did have some live plants in the tank, but the fish got infected with ich, and the treatment I used killed the live plants. So now there are less plants, which makes the tank lighter.....one of my sharks (the larger of the 2) is a light almost whitish gray color, and the other is somewhat dark still. Would there be any reason that one would be light and the other dark? I was just curious if there was any cause for concern! Thanks for your help!

as these fish age, they need to have a fresh as babies to brackish in their teens (for lack of a better word in mind for now) and eventually to full marine as mature adults. It could be that they are needing the saltier environment.

Thanks for your reply...I just thought it was strange that one happened to be staying light and the other darker. I appreciate your help!
