Yes the python is very good.
Just a few recommendations:
1) Get the brass faucet adapter. They give you a white plastic one that is easy to strip the threads on. All my faucets are at odd angles and the threads were filled with hard water build up since they are old.
2) Make sure you sink drains well. You might test it by turning the water on all they way and it shouldn't overflow. If its plugged up, you should fix it before using the python system. I'm sure you don't want your fish water to overflow. It can suck water very quickly depending on how high the faucet is on and how much pressure you have.
If you get the python siphon, you should be able to change the water in less than half the time. Its always a pain to start the regular siphon going.
