Siphoning tank with shrimp

I have some extra netting from my BioMax that has fairly large holes--hopefully not large enough for shrimpies to pass through. I'm going to rubberband it over the nozzle and give that a shot. Getting really tired of using the turkey baster.

Sounds like a good idea. If you're gravel vacuuming then of course you want holes big enough for solids in the substrate to go through but small enough to keep at least young shrimp out.

Reminds me of when I was studying Gore-Tex materials, lol.
