Size of the fight in the fish

Laid Da Eggies!

my fish has laid egg's after 4 days of being with her mate. wow, i am really excited that i have a def pair. hopefully they can get it right the first time and i won't have to wait too long....can you give us a time frame of how long the egg's will take to hatch?

Whigglers at about three to four days then in about another two to three for free swimming. Convicts will move the fry from the place they layed the eggs if their is another place to put them(cave, crack in a rock). They will take turns watching the fry. It's cool to wach them trade out watching.
 
FRY!, they have hatched and a wiggling about. you were right she did move them. not very far though, just back furthing into the cave. I've been watching them, and the dad has been most agro lately (to be expected :)) I can't wait till they are free swimming, a couple of them look like they are gna be big and tough, cause they are getting a bit of thrust already ^_^. well i'll see how we go then. so good to finially have some fry.

when is a good time to move them into a grow out tank, i'm thinking 0.5-1cm or 1/3 of an inch. but then i'm thinking just let them grow up until dad gets mad and starts chasing them off.

and also what are good techniques to use when removing fry/juvi's. you always need to keep them in the water right? (i.e. no netting)
