I have 3 danios in my community tank (20g). Two are zebra danios, one looks the same but has speckled dots instead of stripes. Anyway, two of the danios look normal, with slight bulges under their belly that looks normal. The third one (zebra) has no belly at all, his body is perfectly straight and long, and his tail droops. It makes him look very skinny, especially compared to the others. He also isn't very active, he just hangs out at the top corner of the tank. He has a nip out of his fin that wasn't there yesterday, so someone bugged him. I've noticed for a while that he was kind of long and skinny (kinda looks like an eel), but he was active and doing his thing until the last couple days when he started hanging out alone. Does this sound a little off?

Yes, I have 'leapord' danio's as well. Very hearty and active fish. Skinny ones also point towards male, but not 100% positive.

Well, it's a couple days later. Still my danio is floating near the top all alone. I've had him for a couple months and he's never acted like this, so I know something's wrong. My test results are: ammonia 0, nitrites 0, nitrates 5, ph 7.2. I treated for Ich last week, but he was not affected visibly, only a Serpae Tetra was. He was not himself before that anyway. I did a 30% water change the other day after the last Ich treatment, no fish were lost during the whole ordeal.
Now, I read from a brochure that was put out by "Jungle" the fish care company. It said, and I don't know how accurate they are, that a skinny, lethargic fish with a sunken belly, like mine, could have a bacteria/fungus or an internal parasite. It says to treat with Pepso food (?) for fungus, and Internal Parasite Guard or Parasite Clear, and feed Pepso food. Of course they're recommending their own product. Anyone have an opinion or advice on this?
The danio is in a community tank, and I don't yet have a hospital tank set up. I have to order a filter online, local store is double price. I do have a 5 gal, but like I said, no filter. If I need to treat him, I guess it would have to be in the community tank (20 gal, non-planted, AC 150). I don't know what to do for him, and I'm afraid I'm going to lose him.
Also, I live in a small town that's limited in fish meds. In my tank are neons, serpaes, and strawberry tetras, platys, danios, cory, and swordtails.
