Thanks everybody. Gonna see what I can do. I'm not gonna bring him back to the store cuz it's the store I work at. I wouldn't be able to get store credit and I'd still have to take care of him lol. Gonna look into symptoms of/ meds for internal parasites.
Alright, I've been feeding him lots and lots of live worms and he's been eating and eating and still thin as a rod, so I got some Metronidazole powder today (Seachem). I'm thawing some frozen food to mix it into but I'm worried. I don't know how much he actually eats of the frozen food. I know he eats some, but not as much as live. Can I use this stuff with live worms too? I know I can use it with live brine shrimp but I don't know if he eats live brine shrimp. So I'm wondering, can I treat the whole tank *and* some food once in a while? Or will it be an OD? I like the idea of treating the water for simplicity, but from what I've read it could be less effective than treating the food. Also I haven't been able to find any answer on whether or not mormyrids can safely be medicated with metro! I'm assuming it's okay but I wish I knew for sure.
