Slightly cloudy water - plant/CO2 related?

:o Ooops! Why did I read your PO4 as 2.5ppm, it clearly says shows "~.25". Time to switch to decaf! Thanks Len.

KH out of the tap is 50ppm, which is why I have been using sodium bicarbonate to buffer.
Some of the stuff I've been reading on the Krib website has given me insight into what may have been going on in the tank - I believe that the plants were starving, and the red coloration I was seeing wasn't happy plants with lots of lights, but a reaction to the lack of nutrients (I can't remember what the process is called, storage of red pigment - it's a sign of nutrient imbalance, happens in land plants too).
The lack of certain elements can also cause plants to become unable to utilise the sugars they create as they photosynthesize - they release the glucose into the water, and presto, the bacteria and algae move in to take advantage of the food source - this could sure be the reason for my green water problem.
As soon as I started feeding the plants with the NPK the leaves started coming in green, and the plants are putting on some good growth, so hopefully soon once I get the hang of proper fertilization the green algae will leave town for good.
I appreciate the advice, I'll keep feeding the plants and monitoring (and asking for help ;))
